Mission Statement

The NAAA Annual Event Meeting (AEM) Committee organizes the annual event. Based off of a vote by members, the executive committee chooses the venue. The AEM Committee organizes a hotel, conference room, invites speakers, coordinates tours, and communicates with NAAA members planning to attend.

Milestones

Dr. Yvonne Pendleton and Dr. Chris McKay have both agreed to speak at our annual event. Dr. Pendleton has served as the Chief of the Space Science and Astrobiology Division at NASA Ames. She now works at NASA Headquarters as the Senior Adviser for Research Analysis for NASA's new Associate Administrator, Alan Stern. Dr. Chris McKay is a planetary scientist with the Space Sciences Division of NASA Ames. Check out his recent Nature Letters article, Methane drizzle on Titan.
