2011 News

October 2011- The NAAA annual event was held this past weekend, October 28-October 2011, at the Millenium Harvest Hotel in Boulder, CO. Special thanks to all the alumni and speakers that attended. September 2011- The newest edition of the NAAA Newsletter has been released! Check it out on the link below. Please send praise, comments, and new stories and ideas to our Editor-in-Chief, our Vice president of Program Administration.

August 2011- The EC is currently working to update the webpage. If you have any awards, special accomplishments or publications that you would like to highlight on our website please let us know by sending us an email at ec (at) nasa-academy.org.

July 2011 -The NAAA 2011 Annual Event has been announced! It will officially be taking place in Boulder, Colorado on Friday, October 28th to Sunday, October 30th. We are looking for volunteers to help organize the event. Please feel free to volunteer even if you don't think you will be able to make it. Volunteers will help in developing a schedule of activities and seeing them into reality. If you are interested in helping out please send us an email at ec (at) nasa-academy.org

 

2009 News

June 2009 - In addition to the Ames, Goddard, Glenn, and Marshall Academy programs we now have a new NASA Propulsion Academy at Marshall Space Flight Center! Check out the new website by following the link below:

2008 News

Serena Eley (V.P. of Operations 2008, GSFC 2005) organized a team of 12 runners to compete in Hood-to-Coast, the largest relay in the world! Kelley Hess (GSFC 2005), Carie Frantz (GSFC 2005), and Jordan Wirfs-Brock (GRC 2005) were all members of the Girls Heart Rockets team. Graylan Vincent (Staff, GSFC 2005) joined the team in decorating the team transport vehicles as Space Shuttles. The team raised over $3000 for the American Cancer Society, with the help of donations from Graylan Vincent, Christina Gosling (V.P. of Finance 2008, GSFC 2003), and Kamara Brown (Pres. 2008, MSFC 2005).
