| May 26 - 29th was the annual spring meeting for the American Geophysical Union held in Boston, MA. Included in the meeting were talks and posters on solar physics, astronomy, space plasmas, geology, hydrology, and the list goes on. Two of us including myself presented our work during the week. Eric Jackson gave a talk titled "Modeling the Interaction of North American and Failed-Rift Stresses: The Role of Rift Geometry." I presented a poster titled "A Laboratory Study of Micron Size Particles in a Dusty Plasma." Of course, Boston was a blast! The wonderful weather the whole week let us experience the sites of Boston at their best. Michelle Minitti also organized an alumni get together dinner at a great Mexican restaurant called Casa Romero. |
