Kids In Space

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHILDREN:

Have you ever looked up at the stars and wondered what is out there?
Have you ever wished you could fly into space?

Please tell us what you think about space, and we'll send your name
there on the Space Shuttle Endevour!

You can write or draw about anything to do with space that interests
you.  Use your imagination and have fun!

Here are some possible topics:

1. HISTORY OF SPACE EXPLORATION 
Examples: Missions to planets, human space flight, astronauts, other
important figures in space

2. HUMANS IN SPACE
Examples: space stations (Skylab, Mir, the International Space
Station), space shuttle, living and working in space, humans traveling
to other planets

3. EXTRATERRESTRIAL LIFE
Examples: meteorites from Mars, Search for Extraterrestrial Life
(SETI), ocean on Europa

4. TECHNOLOGY
Examples: rockets, satellites, rovers, space suits

5. ASTRONOMY
Examples: comets, planets, stars, galaxies, black holes, the Hubble
Space Telescope

6. NASA
Examples: What is NASA? What is NASA doing now? What will NASA do in
the future?

7. ANY SPACE RELATED TOPIC OF YOUR CHOICE
