Kids In Space

The NASA Academy Alumni Association Group Project

In an effort to stimulate creativity and increase American school-age students' knowledge of space and science, the NASA Academy Alumni Association invites students to submit original works on space related topics. Entries may include essays, artwork, stories, and poems. Students who submit qualifying entries will have their names flown into space. This will inspire students' interest in space and spark a passion for future involvement. Selected entries will be published in an anthology to increase the general public's awareness of space and the positive impact it can have on children.

SEND YOUR NAME TO MARS

The NASA Academy Alumni Association has teamed with NASA's Office of Space Science to invite kids of all ages to send a little of themselves to Mars. Your name can be included on a CD-ROM that is being sent to the red planet on the Mars Polar Lander in December 1999 by clicking here.
